Bespoke Illustration FAQ's
How long does it take?
Typically, I work to a 2-3 week turnaround. This can vary and depends on the complexity of the brief.
I offer express services, availability dependent.
What do I include in my brief?
An outline of what you’d like illustrated is essential. Reference images are strongly encouraged!
For fashion illustrations, any styling notes (such as body types, skin tones, poses or hairstyles) are helpful. For architectural, product, or environmental illustrations, details like scale, materials, perspective, mood, or intended use are great to include.
Any additional details can be discussed with me prior to confirmation to ensure your vision is fully understood and met.
What media do you use?
I offer both digitally illustrated and hand drawn illustrations. All artwork is drawn by hand.
For digital illustrations, I use an Apple iPad, Apple Pencil and Procreate.
For Hand drawn Illustrations, I use a range of professional markers and coloured pencils on heavyweight paper.
How does payment work?
Once the design brief has been finalised, I’ll provide a quote for the work.
Upon acceptance of the quote, an invoice for a 50% deposit will be issued. This deposit is required upfront to secure my availability and begin the project.
Once you’re happy with the completed artwork, I’ll issue a final invoice for the remaining balance. The final files will be delivered once full payment has been received.
